Back Roads and Beaches relay team runner Joanna Johnson finishes strong in the olympic relay.

Despite the threat of rain in today's forecast, it turned out to be a beautiful day in Vermilion for the annual HFP Vermilion Harbor Triathlon. Results from the triathlon will be posted here.

Congratulations to first place olympic relay team, Back Roads and Beaches. Team members include swimmer, Jim Janasko of Amherst; cyclist, Todd Westley of Elyria, and runner Joanna Johnson who is part of the Oberlin College Cross Country team.  Much of the cycling course utilizes the Back Roads and Beaches route. Congratulations to all the athletes that came out to enjoy the great weather, challenging course and formidable competition.
